The East Gate Public Toilet of Huanggang Park is the first public toilet in Shenzhen's "toilet revolution" project in municipal parks, jointly promoted by the Shenzhen Municipal Construction and Public Works Department and the Shenzhen Municipal Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, and the Overseas Chinese Town. Yiyuan is Huanggang Park

The public toilet of Yiyuan Garden is located on the slope of the park. There are three passages in the construction, one is the stairs for citizens to walk, and the other is a barrier-free passage to facilitate the disabled and push children up. A channel is also reserved to connect with Yiyuan.

The third toilet is a toilet separate from the men's and women's toilets and used to assist the elderly, young, family members, and people with limited mobility.

For example: parents take their young children to the toilet, daughters assist the old father, and sons assist the old mother in the toilet.

In order to meet the quality requirements of the Shenzhen Municipal Construction and Public Works Department, the designer and the construction team went to the wood grain paint factory in Huizhou and the factory master to manually color and paint on site. After a day of trial and error, they found out what is suitable for this project. Wood grain paint color, suitable texture, the effect of wood grain paint is finally formed near the evening. After the construction master came back, he carefully polished and painted the steel beams according to the fixed texture. After the completion of the construction, the rest area finally achieved the expected effect.
